Our pain-in-the-butt has returned! The vet called yesterday morning to say that Achilles was a new puppy, and that we could pick him up.
Considering just how bad off he was, I honestly wasn't too sure that he would make it. Wednesday he went in, and really didn't look like he would make it through the next day.
Thursday they called to say he was doing much better than the day before. They planned to give him food and water. (something he hadn't taken in days)
Friday he was his same "retard-happy" self (that is what Denny calls him). Sophie wasted no time climbing on, running over, poking, and riding him around the apartment. Even Denny was happy Achilles was home. *GASP* Denny hates dogs almost as much as I hate cats.
I'm glad I ignored my Mexican instincts that just told me to put the dog down and save the money. He was worth it.
