Late Easter

We didn't do our Easter on the 4th (mostly because I'm a slacker).

Denny woke me up around 8:30 Saturday morning, by literally dragging me out of bed. He hauled me out, holding me by a leg and an arm. Such love. Once I stood up, grumbling things under my breath, he covered my eyes.

I was blindly led to the dining table, where I was granted my sight once again. There sat an envelope and 2 boxes of candies, next to it was a bigger mound of pink stuff.

Denny informed me that small mountain of candies were not for me. He then went to wake poor Sophie.

(notice how she is on my pillow... not hers)

Poor girl never had a chance. Denny tried to soften the blow by bringing a bottle of Spongebob bubbles to wake her. (Sophie isn't a morning person, much like her daddy)

Her "Easter".

Once she saw her pile of happiness, the warmed up to the idea of waking up.

It's silly how excited she gets about things. Her eyes just about popped out of her head when I told her candy was in the eggs.

Denny was rather proud that he had gotten all of these things on his own. When I told him Easter was last week, and he responded, "so, it's all on sale now!"

Yay Easter.

BAHAHAHA!! I love that! Late Easter is better than no Easter right? I think he deserves an immense amount of credit for doing that all on his own :)

None of it was planned either. I just felt like doing it.

I also picked up some awesome "easter" cups.
