Play Doh

After pulling my camera out, I realized that I did indeed take a few pictures.
They are from the first week we got here.
Enjoy.

Thank You

As my husband so lovingly put it, I have become full of acidic hate since moving.
(to be fair, I am absurdly pregnant, therefore I get to hate things)

In an effort to focus more on the positive, I decided to thank everyone for their love and kindness.

My ever loving neighbor, Rachael, is probably the person I miss the most.
You are a super awesome friend, and a reliable one at that.
Thank you for all of your help with the stress of moving.
Thank you for the amazing blessing way that you planned.
Thank you for letting me hang out in your front yard while I tried to fight my PPD.
Thank you for being your fantastically goofy self.

The ladies in our old ward really reached out just before the move.
I often had people stop by with a bag of baby clothes, or text to ask how I was doing.
One loving lady even offered to let me take her car the day my eardrum burst.
Thank you to everyone who took the girls for a playdate, so that I could have a few minutes of sanity.
Thank you to everyone who brought me food.
Thank you to everyone who came and helped us load the moving truck.

The biggest thank you goes out to my brother and his wife.
Not only did they show us around the area, help Denny look for jobs, cook delicious meals, take my kids out to the park, and help us move all of our crap up a flight of stairs...
They let us live with them for a month, while we tried to find our own place.
Not once did they make us feel unwelcome.
I'm not sure we will ever be able to fully pay them back.

While I have trouble seeing all of the good at 40 weeks and 1 day pregnant, I am very grateful for everyone in my life.

I love you all, and appreciate all you do/have done for us.

PS once this child finally comes out, I will try to get back to posting pictures.
I am aware that this is the only way family can usually see the girls.
I am just too round to care right now.... :)

YOLO

As I sit here in a poorly lit hotel room, I'm still not quite sure my brain has grasped the reality that we have actually moved. I am well aware that all of our belongings are parked outside in that hideously yellow truck, but something just hasn't quite clicked yet. I'm weird like that.

We have planned to come to Texas for several years.
The only thing stopping us was the lack of funds, a job, etc.

With two tiny sick children, a stupid cat that peed in its kennel after getting groomed, all of the stress that came with packing up our things/listing the house for sale, and so on.... I question my sanity at the decision to move so suddenly.

I was supposed to have at least 2 more years to mentally prepare for the move.

Whenever I near a breakdown from the stress, I remind myself that this is exactly where we wanted to be.
With our family.
A place where Denny can actually get a decent paying job (that he doesn't hate)
Somewhere we want to be.

The greatest blessings come from the most difficult struggles.

I'd say after Denny being laid off, me being 34 weeks pregnant, and moving in an absurdly short amount of time...
We are due for a blessing or two.

Besides.
Once the girls get to see their cousins and explode with excitement tomorrow, it will all be worth it.

Ren Fest '13

We took a day off from packing to enjoy the Utah Renaissance Festival.
We go every year, and always have a blast.

Being as I am the size of a whale, it was hot, and my feet hurt...
There aren't too many pictures.

Take what you get.

And to keep Mya from blowing a gasket, the girls both got their faces painted.

They both made out like bandits.
Tattoos, face paint, fairy wings, jewels, daggers, balloon animals, etc.

On the way out, we stopped by the "petting zoo" area.
(where I was licked by a small goat, no me gusta)

We all went home super tired.

Now, because I am just too lazy to make another post, an update on the move.
House is up for sale, and about half way packed.
We will be having a huge yard sale this weekend. (Come buy our crap)
And leaving between the 28-30, I just need to buy our plane tickets.

Annual Zoo Trip

We took our yearly trip to the zoo this past weekend.
Grandma Taly came out to visit, which the girls always love.

Enjoy the sea of pictures.

Mya about an inch away from a monkey.
She effin loves monkeys.

We had lots of fun with grandma, as always.
And look forward to her next visit.

By the way, we are moving to Texas at the end of May.
So there may not be many posts/pictures while we pack up and such.

I will try to keep posting camera phone pictures on facebook. :)
