Bring On The Gossip!

Now everyone I know has a big mouth, so I figured I'd get this out of the way now.

While I do love my husband very much, our marriage has been... for lack of a better word, Shit.We were married young, and on top of that had a baby thrown into the mix. As you can imagine, many mistakes were made on both sides.

Long story short, we pushed each other away, far away.

We are now in the process of fixing all the damage that has been done over the 2 years and some months. We are taking evasive action! Neither of us will just lay down and die. We both come from broken homes, and neither of us want that for our darling little Sophie.

So there you have it. Straight from the source. If I catch you gossiping, I'll punch you dead in the face. You have been warned.

Breastfeeding Is Offensive!

I copied this from a post by LilGrlLost on Cafemom. I loved it!

I'm thankful for not having boobs thrown in my face all day by the offensive and indecent breastfeeding mothers like the ones below:

Wait...Well, this is a bad example. Let's try again.

Hmm...Just a minute. I'm sure I can find better ones than these...

Eh, still not offensive enough. I'll check one more time.

That is better. LOOK AT THAT! I see about a half inch of boob. DISGUSTING.

UGH. Look at that indecency! She must be from some third world country to be exposed like that!

Now that's just...There are no words to describe how inappropriate that is. Something needs to be done!

But why stop at breastfeeding women? There are boobs everywhere. Beware! If you thought the above photos were offensive, you WILL DEFINITELY be offended by the photos below.

Not this one, though. This one was in plain view on news stands and in mail boxes in 19 countries world wide!

Not this one, either. This one actually won an award!

Oh, and I guess this one is fine too. Everyone knows you can't sell jeans without someone being topless.

Or beer, for that matter.

Or sunglasses.

Or movie tickets.

Or CDs...

You know what? Maybe I'm crazy, but I think that someone mixed up some photos here. The first batch are offensive, but the second batch are just fine and dandy???

People who live in glass bras:

Shouldn't throw stones:

If you think women have the right to breastfeed their children no matter where they are, please repost this...comment vote it popular whatever . Support breastfed babies and their right to eat in public!

It's gone :(

I have lost my precious camera. My faithful companion was always in my purse. The other day we were at the river, and once we were home, it was gone. It probably fell out while I was putting everything in the car. *sob* I will be in mourning for several days. $150 down the drain. CURSES!

River Fun

We went to hang out at the Weber River this past weekend. Denny and Isaak took the raft down the river, while Sophie and I played in the shallow water. We'll have to invest in some tubes, so that we can all go down.
Then Monday we went back. Sophie, Quimby, Isaak, Monan, and I had a good time. Sophie spent a good majority of the time collecting rocks in her little blue bucket. We found out that Quimby can swim. :)
And caught itty bitty fish!!! Super cool huh? We probably scared this particular one to death. After traumatizing it by catching it in the bucket, we poured it into Monan's hands, then I chased it around until I caught it in my fingers. After all that I flung it back into the water. Poor fish. (super cute nail polish huh?)

FYI- there is a video of the boys going down the river at the bottom of the page in the video bar. And the rest of the pictures are in a slideshow in the sidebar. ENJOY!

Playing In The River

This evening we took a walk down the little path by the river. I love that path. It was originally going to be my friend Monan and me taking Sophie on a walk, but we got Denny and Isaak to go with us.

Once we could see the river, Sophie squealed "water!" The kid is a fish, just like her daddy. We went down to the water and started throwing rocks. Sophie and I sat at the edge of the water, and tossed in little pebbles. The boys decided to show off their man-ness and heaved giant rocks as far as they could.

Men. :P Eventually Denny threw off his sandals and headed into the water, Sophie soon followed. She loves doing anything he does, its so cute. After a while, she demanded that I enter the water as well. Then we made fun of Isaak and Monan until they gave in.

I wish I would have taken my stupid camera. It was so cute watching Sophie, she got really into the rock throwing. She even wanted to throw big rocks just like the boys. We are going to go back tomorrow, and I'll be sure to take my camera then.
